DJ Thiz Guy Leads Advance Team to Japan for GHAPANFEST 2026

Tokyo, Japan — Anticipation is building ahead of the Ghana–Japan cultural showcase, GHAPANFEST 2026, as renowned Ghanaian DJ and production expert David Faaba, popularly known as DJ Thiz Guy, arrives in Japan to spearhead early-stage preparations for the highly anticipated festival.

With over 25 years of experience in DJing and event technical production, David Faaba has built a reputation as one of Ghana’s most seasoned entertainment professionals. As the Chief Executive Officer of Citi High Entertainment—the main organizers behind GHAPANFEST 2026—his presence in Japan signals the seriousness and scale of the upcoming international cultural exchange.

Scheduled for May 2026 in Japan, GHAPANFEST aims to celebrate the vibrant fusion of Ghanaian and Japanese culture through music, dance, art, and business collaboration. A follow-up edition of the festival is also slated for November in Ghana, further strengthening cultural and economic ties between the two nations.

In his role as Head of Production for the festival, DJ Thiz Guy is part of the advance team tasked with laying the groundwork for the event. His responsibilities include overseeing technical logistics, coordinating venues, managing stage design concepts, and ensuring world-class production standards are met ahead of the main festival.
