Ghanaian winger Aziz Issah out for three weeks with muscle injury

 

Ghanaian winger Aziz Issah is expected to be sidelined for around three weeks after sustaining a muscle injury to the adductor of his right leg. The 20-year-old sustained the setback on February 1, 2026, during Barça Atlètic’s match against Terrassa, interrupting a promising period in his development with the Spanish side.

Issah, on loan from Dreams FC until June 30, 2026, had been gradually establishing himself in the squad under manager Juliano Belletti. This season, he has featured in 18 matches for Barça Atlètic, scoring 4 goals and providing 5 assists, demonstrating his ability to contribute both in finishing and creating opportunities from wide positions. His pace, dribbling, and vision had made him a key attacking outlet on the flanks, helping the team maintain offensive momentum.

 

The injury represents a temporary setback, but the club’s medical team is confident in his recovery, aiming for a return to full training in approximately three weeks.
