The 21-year-old attacker is one of four players shortlisted for the honour, alongside forward Julián Quiñones, experienced midfielder Nahitan Nández, and rising Saudi talent Musab Al Juwayr, highlighting the level of competition for the award.
Bonsu Baah’s nomination comes on the back of a highly productive January period for Al Qadsiah, during which the club went seven consecutive league matches unbeaten.
That run not only boosted confidence within the squad but also strengthened their push up the league table, with improved consistency becoming a defining feature of their campaign. The Ghanaian winger played a role in every one of those fixtures, featuring in all seven matches and making tangible contributions at both ends of the pitch.
Operating primarily from the flanks, Bonsu Baah delivered three assists in January, using his pace, direct running and creativity to stretch opposing defences.
His standout performance came in a dominant 5–1 away victory over Al Hazem, where he registered two assists and caused constant problems with his movement and early attacking influence. He was also influential in the notable win against Al Ittihad, contributing to a crucial goal in a result that further demonstrated Al Qadsiah’s progress against strong opposition.
Since joining the club, the former Genk player has shown remarkable consistency and durability. He has missed just one league match all season, starting 17 of the 18 games in which he has been available. Across that stretch, Bonsu Baah has been directly involved in five league goals, scoring once and providing four assists—figures that only partially capture his overall impact on the team’s attacking play.
Beyond the numbers, his willingness to track back, press defenders, and maintain width has made him a key tactical asset for Al Qadsiah. As his confidence continues to grow, Bonsu Baah’s influence within the squad is becoming increasingly evident, and this Player of the Month nomination stands as recognition of a young winger steadily finding his feet and making his mark in Saudi Arabian football.
